What is BASE
BASE is a social enterprise dedicated to bringing people and communities together through a shared passion for badminton. Our aim is to make the sport accessible to all while promoting fitness, wellbeing and positive community engagement.
Working in partnership with the University of the West of Scotland and Badminton Scotland, BASE provides opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to get involved in badminton in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Based in Lanarkshire, BASE is the only dedicated badminton academy in the region, supporting everyone from beginners and recreational players to those looking to develop their competitive performance.
Through community programmes, coaching and player development pathways, BASE is helping grow badminton, improve wellbeing and strengthen communities across Lanarkshire.
